A late spring cold burst is moving over south-east Australia, with damaging winds, cold temperatures and low-level snow impacting multiple states, and Ballarat is copping its fair share of the dodgy weather.
Our peak gust of 72Kph recorded at 1.33pm today.
Despite the odd shower and at times small hail Ballarat has only recorded 0.4mm of rain since 9am this morning.
Meantime, there have been reports of multiple trees down around Ballarat, the latest on Daylesford Road just near Kirks Reservoir.
The SES has so far responded to 31 calls for help across the Grampian’s region.
