Police are appealing for public assistance in identifying a man accused of a brazen daytime fuel theft in Ballarat.
It’s alleged the man drove a vehicle in a service station on Lydiard Street and filled the tank with petrol valued at $180.
Police have been told the man then climbed back into his car and drove off, making no attempt to pay for the fuel.
The incident was captured on the outlet’s CCTV, and police have now released an image of them nan they wish to speak to.
