East Ballarat cricket export Matt Short has earned himself a big pay day.
The 28-year-old batting ace has been rewarded for his exceptional form with a Cricket Australia contract.
Western Australia all-rounder Aaron Hardie, Tasmanian quick Nathan Ellis and Queensland speedster Xavier Bartlett all new to the list as well.
Short made his international debut during last year’s T20 series in South Africa and was named the BBL13 Player of the Tournament this year.
Slipping off the list are WA allrounders Ashton Agar and Marcus Stoinis, Victoria opener Marcus Harris, Queensland quick Michael Neser and the retiring David Warner.
