A $2.5 million upgrade over the next two years of a recycled plastic manufacturer’s Ballarat plant will create three to four new jobs.

The boost for Replas is a combination of a Sustainability Victoria grant and company investment and will see the largest moulder available globally installed at its Canadian facility.

Managing Director of Replas Travis Brown says they’ll be aiming to get new products into different industries.

“That’s the beauty of plastic, we can mould it into anything we see fit.”

“Mainly we’re going to try and open up different markets in either mining, farming or civil construction stuff, we’re really going to try and push the limits,” Mr. Brown said.

Replas products such as decking, bollards, street furniture and dog agility can be found right around Australia and New Zealand.
