Witnesses sought in Meredith fatal collision investigation

Police are calling on witnesses as more details emerge around a fatal multi-car collision in Meredith.

It’s believed a Bonshaw man in his 20s rear ended a Suzuki on the Midland Highway around 6 Tuesday morning, causing it to collide with a car travelling on the intersecting McLeod Street.

The passenger of the Suzuki, a 29-year-old Gisborne woman, died at the scene.

The Bonshaw man was treated at Ballarat Base Hospital before being interviewed by detectives and released pending further investigation.
