There was an unsettling scene for workers and shoppers in Ballarat’s CBD this morning with a fallen powerline draping over a car in Armstrong Street North.
Fire fighters and electrical crews arrived at around 10.20am with Powercor saying no customers were without electricity.
The road was partially blocked with fire crews protecting those in nearby shops and offices.

The incident has since been rectified.
