The line-up for this year’s White Night in Ballarat has been revealed today with a largely local flavour.

The event on June 1st will feature almost 40 projections including ‘Tattooed City’ featuring the tattoos of locals and works from the late Ballarat artist Josh Muir.

Artistic Director Andrew Walsh says they’re hoping for tens of thousands of people to attend.

“The crowd is always a tricky one to predict.”

“We’re planning for around the 60,000 people mark, in our logistics planning we’re looking at those sorts of numbers.”

“From what we are hearing from accommodation providers and the like is that there is some really good interest,” Mr. Walsh said.

White Night Ballarat is free to attend and takes place on Saturday 1 June 2024 from 6pm to 12 midnight in Ballarat’s CDB.
