Three police officers have suffered minor injuries after their police vehicles were rammed in Mount Clear last night.

Police officers saw a silver Ford Falcon, allegedly stolen from Torquay last year, drive into a Geelong Road car wash just before 9pm.

It’s alleged the car also was bearing false registration plates.

Officers parked in front and behind the Ford with their lights and sirens on, when the Falcon driver allegedly began ramming both police cars.

A 43-year-old Eureka man and a 35-year-old Eureka woman were arrested at the scene, with the 20-year-old Wendouree driver arrested nearby after fleeing on foot.

The driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries as is currently under police guard.

A police search of the car located a homemade shotgun inside the driver’s side door and a fold out knife was found on the driver.

Investigations remain ongoing.
