A new parking trial will aim to help businesses in Ballarat Central.
The City of Ballarat announced new five-minute pick up and drop off parking zones will be created in Armstrong Street, Lydiard Street and Mair Street.
It follows feedback from traders in the CBD, including a petition to council calling for a change in their parking rules back in January.

The council says they will be reviewing the trial over the coming months.
