A donation to support cancer research has led to the creation of a new fellowship at the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.

Mildura resident Irene Tellefson received treatment for her cancer in Ballarat and became aware of the institutes work.

Before she passed away in 2022, she wished to support research to improve outcomes for cancer patients.
