Ballarat’s spirits industry continues to grow, with the launch of a new distillery in the city yesterday.
Set to open in Armstrong Street later this month, craft beverage maker Grainery Lane has been supported by a $450,000 State Government investment, with the project supporting 40 direct and indirect jobs.
The new venue will include a tasting area, cellar door and teaching spaces for single and multi-day courses.

Another Government backed distillery, Itinerant Spirits, will open later this year.
