Two school rowers from the Wendouree Ballarat Rowing Club have received a national call-up.
Lucy Richardson and Katie Jackson have been selected to represent Australia at the World Rowing Under 19 Championships in Paris.
Coach Jamie McDonald has also been selected.
The prestigious event will be held at the Vaires-sur-Marne venue on August 2nd to 6th.
Vaires-sur-Marne is the venue for the rowing and canoeing events at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
“Both Lucy and Katie have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout their time at the Wendouree Ballarat Rowing Club, and their selection to compete at the international level is a testament to their hard work and the strong support of their fellow club members, friends, and families,” the club said in a statement.
