Local police are reminding motorbike riders to hydrate and prepare for high heat in the wake of an incident near Talbot.
Emergency services were called to the Maryborough – Ballarat/Pollocks Road intersection just before noon Monday where a rider had come off his bike.
The man suffered minor injuries after having what’s believed to have been a heat related medical incident.

As January temperatures cntinue to increase, riders are being warned to hydrate, wear appropriate gear, and prepare for travelling in the hotter months.
