A man has been taken to hospital following an accident in Alfredton this morning.
The newsroom understands a man in his 60’s was hit by a car just after 7am on Cuthberts Road, sustaining life-threatening injuries.
The man was taken to the Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition for observation.

The driver stopped at the scene and has spoken with police.
