Ballarat police have charged a man following an alleged armed robbery at a Mount Clear supermarket.
It’s understood a man allegedly tried to steal several items from the Geelong Road store around 8pm on Wednesday, when a staff member confronted him.
The man then allegedly produced a weapon and fled the store with the items.
No-one was injured.
A 36-year-old man was arrested at a Sebastopol property yesterday, charged with a number of offences.
He will appear in the Ballarat Magistrates Court today.
