The Lexton community are rallying around their beloved pub, the Pyrenees Hotel, after its sudden closure last month.

Residents are holding a town hall meeting on Sunday afternoon, where they’ll determine the interest in a community buy-out of the town’s only pub.

The group, Friends of the Pyrenees Hotel, says the aim is to have the ownership spread across a broad shareholder base so the hotel can be operated for many years to come.
