A car’s been destroyed and a home extensively damaged in a blaze at Gordon.
Crews were called to Sharrocks Road just before half past seven last night, finding the occupants had managed to get out safely.
There were around 15 fire trucks on scene at one stage to get water to the blaze with poor water pressure hampering the fire fighting efforts.

The cause is being investigated.
