Former North Ballarat Rebel Hugh McCluggage has missed out on the captaincy at the Brisbane Lions.
Instead, he’s been named as the AFL clubs Vice Captain.
Harris Andrews and Lachie Neale will share the captaincy duties.

The talented duo heads up an 11-person leadership group made up of Hugh McCluggage, Daniel Rich, Lincoln McCarthy, Oscar McInerney, Charlie Cameron, Josh Dunkley, Jarrod Berry, Ryan Lester and Jack Gunston.
McCluggage was recruited to the Lions from the Rebels at pick 3 in the 2016 national draft after playing his junior football with South Warrnambool.
