Which is best to cook with, gas or electricity?
They’re holding an electric induction cook-top demonstration using portable plug-in models to encourage us to get off our addiction to gas.

Smart Living Coordinator Ellen Burns says going electric is cheaper, quicker and safer.
“I think people don’t realise, or they are starting to realise, that gas is putting out emissions into your house.”
“Those emissions can cause a lot of health issues such as asthma, especially in children.”
“So, it’s not just the fire risk,” Ms. Burns said.
The free demonstration will be held from 12.30pm tomorrow at Barkly Square.
