The street has been closed, with traffic diverted through the Eastwood Street car park.

Just before 4am, a burnt-out car was located on Boundary Road in Brown Hill, with detectives now investigating whether it’s linked to the tobacco store fire.

The fire comes just days after a Bendigo mall tobacco shop was found burning in the early hours of the morning.

The blaze is being treated as a targeted attack and investigators are calling for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
