One of the country’s biggest literary events returns to the Ballarat region from tomorrow, Clunes Book Town.
Advance ticket sales to the two day festival remain well up on last year with thousands expected.
Organiser Tom Brooker from Creative Clunes says Book Town is a lot broader this year.
“One of the things that is a little different from previous years is that we’ve expanded the focus.”
“There are plenty of author panels covering lots of aspects of the book and genres, but we are also looking at story telling in other lenses, so we’ve got architects, we’ve got graphic designers, even people writing for stage and song writing,” Mr. Brooker said.
There’ll be a welcome to country tomorrow at 9.30am in the Collins Place Rotunda to launch the festival.
