Less than one month until the state election and the big swings to win votes keep coming.
The revitalisation of Brown Hill’s Recreation Reserve would be pushed along with a re-elected Andrews Labor Government.
A $1 million pledge has been made to go toward the reserve’s redevelopment masterplan – a document made in community consultation which takes in the future things such as the outdoor pool, amenities and ideas for recreation like skate parks.
Buninyong MP Michaela Settle says she’s promised the $1 million to help get the masterplan finalised and signed off.
Also this week, the Liberal-Nationals Coalition has firmed its commitment to an upgrade at Sovereign Hill.
If elected on November 26, the Coalition Government would put $27.3 million toward the development of the Gold Pavilion at Sovereign Hill.
The pavilion’s described as creating a world-class arrival experience for Sovereign Hill as well as new exhibition and education spaces.
