Changes to how children are supervised in Ballarat pools came into play over the weekend.
Little ones under 5 will now need to wear a pink wristband and be within arms reach of a guardian.
Children 5 to 10 required to wear a yellow wristband and must be supervised at all times.

The rules apply at the Ballarat Aquatic Centre as well as Eureka, Black Hill, Brown Hill and Buninyong outdoor pools.
