Ballarat Community Health says it is extremely happy with the strong turnout to a flu and COVID vaccination event held at the Ballarat Regional Multicultural Centre on Saturday.
Nearly 200 locals, many students, turned out to receive their jabs.
Manager of the Health Communities team at Ballarat Community Health Louise Feery, says the event recognises the importance of ensuring accessible and convenient vaccine options to the community.

“BCH welcomes the opportunity to partner with BRMC and support the multicultural community in Ballarat and thank them for providing such a welcoming and accessible space for this clinic,” Ms. Feery said.
COVID cases surged by 18% across the state last week with Ballarat reporting 193 new infections.
