A similar situation occurred for three weeks late last year.
“It’s a technical issue, and a contractor has been engaged to fix the problem,” said a statement supplied by the government through Wendouree MP Juliana Addison.
No timeline was given for its repair.
In related news, responding to a question on underground parking for public servants in Gov Hub the statement also said; “The Ballarat Gov Hub carpark is available for use by Victorian Government departments and agencies who are tenants of the building.”
It’s understood only a few public servants have previously been allowed to use the 210 car parking spaces underneath the building, the reason why remains unclear.
