Organisers of Ballarat’s Carols by Candlelight say they’re facing a critical funding gap to secure the event ongoing.
Carols secretary Carolyn Bennett is calling on donations from the local community to pay for essential running costs.
“We recognise the financial pressures facing everyone this year, but we are calling on the Ballarat community to consider contributing what they can to help make Carols by candlelight a reality,” Ms. Bennett said.

The carols are planned for Mars Stadium in December if around $20,000 in funding can be secured.
