Australia’s second biggest ‘gift’ meet springs to life tomorrow at City Oval.
The Ballarat Gift has attracted over 800 entries from athletes around the country who’ll be vying for a share of the $20,000 prize pool.
The winners of the men’s and women’s gifts will win $5000 each.

Andrew Drummond, who sits on the organising committee, says Ballarat sits just behind Stawell on the gift calendar.
“We’ve got over 820 entries this year and we’ve got people coming from all over Australia including a big squad coming down from Brisbane.”
“On the athletic calendar, particularly in Australia, it’s a very big two-day event,” Mr. Drummond said.
Entry to the gift is free with perfect summer weather conditions forecast.
