Rockstar Games has unveiled the second trailer for “Grand Theft Auto VI,” arriving nearly 18 months after the debut of the first trailer in December 2023.

This latest preview comes just days after Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar announced a delay in the game’s release. The launch has been pushed back by six months to May 26, 2026.

While the first trailer showcased the vibrant and sprawling Vice City (a fictionalized Miami), the second trailer shifts focus to the game’s central storyline. Set to The Pointer Sisters’ “Hot Together,” it introduces Jason and Lucia, a couple navigating a life of crime.

In this high-stakes narrative, the pair know the odds are against them. But when a seemingly simple heist goes wrong, the duo finds themselves caught in a web of conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida. Trapped in the sun-drenched chaos of America’s most dangerous corners, their survival depends on unwavering trust in one another.

The trailer showcases a wide array of locations, from grimy motel rooms and neon-lit strip clubs to sprawling marinas, treacherous swamps, bustling freeways, and beyond. Players can explore six key areas within the game: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga National Park.

“Grand Theft Auto VI” is set to launch on May 26, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release has not yet been confirmed.
