Ballarat’s highest performing basketballers will be honoured tonight.
It’s the annual Ray Borner & Robyn Maher awards night with outstanding individual and collective achievements for the Miners to be recognised.
“The awards are chosen by the coaching staff,” said four-time Olympian Ray Borner.

“They’ve got the intimate knowledge of what everybody’s doing, we don’t see all the away games so you can’t make judgement on that,” he said.
Last year’s medals were won by Tyler Rudolph and Chloe Bibby.
The men’s squad won’t be partying too hard at the awards tonight however with an NBL1 South elimination-final clash against the Melbourne Tigers tomorrow night.
