There’s been more dangerous driving on Ballarat’s outskirts.
This time Ballarat Highway Patrol Officers will allege that on Sunday night at about 7.20pm on the Western Highway at Warrenheip, a 38-year-old woman from Sebastopol was clocked at 158kph.
Her 9-year-old child was in the front passenger seat at the time, she later tested positive to methamphetamine.
The driver’s vehicle, an Infinity Q30, was impounded by police for a period of 30 days at a cost of $1425, she will now be summonsed to appear at the Ballarat Magistrates Court at a later date.
More than 1100 preliminary breath tests were conducted locally over the ANZAC Day period as part of Operation Tribute.
