The newsroom understands paramedics are treating a woman who was reportedly kicked in the head by a horse.
Witnesses have told Radio Ballarat the incident occurred at Ballarat Turf Club in Miners Rest earlier this morning.
A spokesperson from Ambulance Victoria says paramedics responded to an incident at around 9:55am.

They say Advanced Life Support and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance paramedics are currently on scene assessing one person.
An air ambulance has also been dispatched.
