The Ballarat Miners have announced Kennedy Kereama as their new women’s head coach and high-performance director for the next 3 NBL1 South seasons.
The veteran has experience in the lead role at the New Zealand Tall Ferns and the Perth Lynx, as well as spending time as an assistant coach at the Canberra Capitals.
Currently, he is the head coach for the Bendigo Spirit.
In a statement, Mr. Kereama says he’s looking forward to building a highly competitive NBL1 program, showcasing the talent within our region and providing a platform for players to reach their fullest potential.
Mr. Kereama expects to get the squad together in February.
