Investigation into Ballarat car theft and fire

Ballarat Police are investigating the alleged theft of a car before it was dumped and set alight earlier this month.

The black Volkswagon sedan with registration 1AQ1LH was taken from Mount Pleasant on January 8, and was later found on fire on Learmonth Road, Wendouree at 5.25am.

The registration plates are still outstanding.
