A Ballarat born basketballer is making sure her name is known in American College basketball and beyond.
Georgia Amoore, who went to Loreto College, has helped take her side the Virginia Tech Hokies into the final 4 of the NCAA tournament, amassing 29 points in the win over Ohio State.
Georgia competed for the Australian National Team at different youth levels winning a gold medal at the U-16 Asian Cup and a bronze medal at the U-18 World Cup.

She played for the Ballarat Rush and earned the Rising Star Award in 2019.
