Train services on sections of the Ballarat line have been suspended, after a person was struck by a train near Deer Park.
Coaches will replace trains on the line between Southern Cross and Caroline Springs.
The Department of Transport advises passengers to check station platform displays, listen for announcements and allow for extra travel time.
