Ballarat high jump star Yual Reath has taken another step towards a berth in the Aussie team at the Paris Olympics.

The Wendouree athlete leaped to a new high over the weekend at the HVC meet in Melbourne jumping 2.30m to smash his personal best, that height puts him in the top 32 high jumpers in the world.
