Sean Duffy, the Chief Executive Officer of Ballarat Community Health has welcomed this week’s announcement from ATAGI of a 5th COVID jab.
It’ll be available by the end of the month to anyone over 18 who hasn’t had Coronavirus for six months.
“I think it will be necessary and I think we’ve got to be mindful of the fact that we turn into winter pretty quick.”

“When winter comes, we start to see a heightened presentation of symptoms and COVID particularly, so we can be complacent, but I think that’s a real risk if we do,” Mr. Duffy said.
It’s understood stand-alone vaccination centres will not be used for the rollout of the 5th vaccine.
