A 17-year-old thug from Wendouree has been remanded following a frightening attack on a retail store manager on April 7th.
Police allege he and two friends had attempted to steal items from the store before they were asked to leave.
Shortly after, one male returned and struck the manager to the head with a wrench causing injuries.
He also allegedly punched a hole in a wall and threatened to kill detectives.
After an investigation by the Ballarat CIU, he was arrested on Tuesday this week and charged with aggravated burglary, recklessly causing injury, criminal damage, making a threat to kill and threatening to assault police.
He’ll now appear before the Ballarat Children’s Court later this month.
