Emergency services were called to the Enfield State Park yesterday afternoon, as part of a complex rescue operation.
An incident with a dirt bike occurred just before 1pm, with paramedics, police and SES called to the site south of Ballarat.
A specialist Air Ambulance helicopter crew, a mobile intensive care ambulance and two advanced life support paramedic road crews worked with other emergency services to reach the patient.
A man in his 40’s suffered a lower body injury and was winched from the scene by Air Ambulance helicopter crews, who transported him to the nearby airfield.
He was then taken by road ambulance to the Ballarat Hospital in a stable condition.
