DAMN FREAKING RIGHT LET’S GO!
It’s been 27-years since the AFL had a State of Origin and it’s finally confirmed to be returning in 2027. This morning The West Australian reported that the WA government had finally locked in a deal to bring the game back for a valentines day return (my real true love).
Rumours circulated about discussion of this very topic after AFL CEO was present in Perth for the Freo vs West Coast AFLW game over the weekend. It’s been confirmed that the game will be played between Victoria and West Australia. The last time these two teams met was all the way back in 1992.
