Ballarat’s hard rubbish collection trial moves a step closer

The possibility of Ballarat getting a hard rubbish collection trial is gaining momentum.

Next month, councilors will view a Hard Rubbish Collection Options Assessment from officers, however what’s to be recommended remains a mystery at this point in time.

Cr. Jay Morrison says he thinks it’s a good idea.

“I have personally advocated for hard rubbish before I was elected to council as well, so I’m very interested to see what is in the report,” he said.

“It will outline a whole lot of different options, different costings, that sort of thing.”
