The Billy Hinde Big Band is a collective comprised of some of the most elite jazz composers and performers in the Melbourne/ Ballarat area.

This particular program features all big band music from traditional Ellington and Benny Goodman repertoire to the modern Melbourne Big Band sound.

This group consists of some of Australia’s most notable musicians including Lachlan Davidson on the saxophone, Gianni Marinucci on trumpet and Elliot Lamb on Trombone.

Furthermore this event celebrates Ballarat powerhouses such as Andrew Power, Louis Stevens and Sam Boon.
