March 24-26 will see around 300 Rotarians from all walks of life and over 50 Rotary clubs located across western Victoria and southeast South Australia gather in Ballarat to share ideas and celebrate their successes in supporting their local and global communities.

A highlight of the three-day conference will also be the opportunity to network and enjoy the friendships created by working together on important community-based projects. Headlining the conference will be tennis legend, author and domestic abuse survivor, Jelena Dokic along with bestselling author and educator, John Marsden. Jelena and John will shine a light on the need to stop domestic violence and to promote reading to our children, respectively.

The public have been invited to join Rotarians to hear John & Jelena speak and answer questions, then at the conclusion to participate in book signing and sales of Jelena’s autobiography ‘Unbreakable’ and John’s many books such as the Tomorrow series which started with ‘Tomorrow When The War Began’.

This public session will be held at the Mercure Ballarat from 1pm-3.30pm on Saturday 25th March. All public ticket sales will be donated to WRISC Family Violence Support Inc, who provide support to women and children affected by family violence throughout the City of Ballarat and Hepburn, Golden Plains, Pyrenees and Moorabool Shires.
