CAFS – Child & Family Services

Cafs (Child and Family Services Ballarat) is a proudly independent community service organisation, with our head office located in the Ballarat Community.

For over 156 years, the heart of our service has been the wellbeing of children, young people and families. Today, that commitment stands strong, and we extend our inclusive and accessible programs to include everyone who needs assistance. We service the Victorian Central Highlands and Grampians region including Ballarat, Daylesford, Ararat, and Bacchus Marsh.

We are here to help all members of our community and run over 40 support programs including Foster Care, Adoption and Permanent Care, help for young people, financial support including Gambler’s help, Family Counselling, programs for new parents, homelessness support, youth care and Thread Together.
