How prepared are you to support your pet during an emergency?
Join us at the Brown Hill Community Hall for a free community workshop.
Build your emergency preparedness skills and learn how to care for your pets when veterinary assistance may be delayed or unavailable. This practical, hands-on workshop will give you the confidence to respond in an emergency and help keep your pets safe.
This is a 5.5 hour sessions, and participants who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate valid for two years.
The workshops cover:
- Pet wellness checks
- Taking vital signs in an emergency
- CPR and rescue breathing
- Managing bleeding and applying bandages
- Fractures and limb injuries
- Bites and stings
- Poisoning and snake bites
- Safe transport of injured pets
