Refugee Week Flag Raising Ceremony on 15 June followed by other events over the week.

The flag raising ceremony marks the start of World Refugee Week 2026 (14–20 June) which coincides with the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention.

This year Australia also proudly marks the milestone of welcoming more than one million refugees since World War II and this year’s theme reflects this.

Flag Raising: Monday 15 June, 10.30-11am

We will have guest speakers and morning tea at the conclusion.
