The Waterloo Community Group is hosting a family fun day on Sunday 31 May.

The event will be from 11am to 2pm.

The family day is being funded by a grant from the “Look Over the Farm Gate” program.

The sponsorship recognises the challenging times facing farmers and residents of rural communities and provides opportunities for events to be held which bring people together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The family day will provide an opportunity for locals to take a break and spend some time engaging in fun activities, a bite to eat and a chat.

Activities on the day will include craft and card making, making your own dog toys, gold panning and detecting, a display from Musical Gully Wings and Wildlife Sanctuary and fun games for children.

There will also be wellbeing and mental health resources provided by the National Centre for Farmers Federation Health.

A delicious free BBQ and drinks will be provided for lunch.

This is a free event and open to all Pyrenees residents.
