Ballarat’s Matt Short has failed to make an impact in the Adelaide Strikers last chance at a Big Bash finals berth.
Despite starting the season strong with a match MVP, Matt fell short of helping Adelaide out of a later season slump.
In the Strikers final game of the season against Melbourne Renegades, Short managed just one wicket from 3 overs with an economy of more than 8 runs per over.

Being set a total of 143 by the Strikers, Short’s minimum impact on the bowling attack allowed the Renegades to chase down the runs in a little more than 18 overs.
