Locally trained athletes have taken home 12 medals from the Australian All Schools Track & Field Championships in Adelaide.
Wendouree’s Mackayla Culvenor took gold in the under 15 triple-jump with Lachlan O’Keefe also taking first place in the under 18 high-jump with his first leap.
All up 18 Ballarat athletes made the trip to South Australia.

Meantime, a Ballarat runner has been selected by Athletics Australia to run in this week’s Zatopek 10 meet.
Daisy Sudholz will compete in the under 20 Ondieki 3000 metre race.
The 62nd running of the Zatopek will be in Melbourne at Lakeside Stadium this Thursday.
