Ballarat will reconnect with its deep lacrosse roots thanks to a major tournament coup.
The Lacrosse Australia U15 Boy’s & Girl’s National Tournaments will be held here next September for the first time in a regional city.
It’s hoped a new Ballarat generation will follow in the footsteps of Lambton Mount – who landed in Ballarat in 1853 and is credited with bringing the sport to Australia.
